In the 9th minute, Ciro Zoff reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Didier Gobbelijns. The goal made the score 1-0. Didier Gobbelijns made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Alessandro Bertoni sent off a good shot on target. Franco Bosso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Gambini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Andrea Gambini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Bosso was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrea Gambini in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Bosso saved CLC Winter from getting behind. Didier Gobbelijns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enzo Oroni's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When Dennis Berardi fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CLC Winter's protests and gave Dennis Berardi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Coviolo booed when CLC Winter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Berardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, CLC Winter's Armando Costantino got a free kick in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 57th minute CLC Winter were awarded a corner. Enzo Oroni went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on CLC Winter's corner Enzo Oroni fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Didier Gobbelijns quite easily take care of the ball. Andrea Gambini struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Franco Bosso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coviolo. Kryspin Walaszkiewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Bosso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to CLC Winter getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Anfilogino Flammini hit a great ball. Coviolo's 姚军耀 was substituted for Andrea Gambini. 姚军耀 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Didier Gobbelijns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Oroni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Coviolo's 姚军耀 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franco Bosso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Franco Bosso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Sandström in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, CLC Winter's goalkeeper Franco Bosso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 姚军耀. In the 90th minute of the game Anfilogino Flammini made a throw-in which Ciro Zoff played forward. Didier Gobbelijns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Bertoni in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Coviolo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CLC Winter.
