In the 25th minute Emanuele Corsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Morini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Corsi in the 28th minute of play forced Rosenborg's goalkeeper Cristoforo Morini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emanuele Corsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
