The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Phenomena's Pål Andersson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alvise Mascitti in the 4 minute of the game. After 8 minutes of play, Zola Predosa FC's Amedeo Piermattei made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Molinaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Phenomena defense, Amedeo Piermattei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Molinaro. The Phenomena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Molinaro should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute Hugo Flecken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Molinaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zola Predosa FC's Josué Rego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Rizzo in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Hugo Flecken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amedeo Piermattei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Molinaro having to interfere. Ernesto Molinaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Flecken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pål Andersson during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Phenomena got a freekick which was hit by Pål Andersson. Amedeo Rizzo had several of the Zola Predosa FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Josué Rego as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ernesto Molinaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Flecken went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Ernesto Molinaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Marcantonio in the 30th minute of the match. Damiano Africano hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Ernesto Molinaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Flecken went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Pål Andersson hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Severo in the 40th minute of play forced Phenomena's goalkeeper Ernesto Molinaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Sebastião Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Molinaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. After 46 played minutes Zola Predosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Africano. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Amedeo Rizzo made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Phenomena's goalkeeper Ernesto Molinaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosimo Sciamanna. Ernesto Molinaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. Sebastião Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ernesto Molinaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmine Sciamanna during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Phenomena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmine Sciamanna to maneuver through the defense. Zola Predosa FC's Alvise Mascitti got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Frode Lillejord fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Phenomena's protests and gave Frode Lillejord a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Phenomena getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Frode Lillejord hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Sciamanna in the 85th minute of play forced Phenomena's goalkeeper Ernesto Molinaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Amedeo Rizzo made a precise shot to the right of Josué Rego. Zola Predosa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-8. Ernesto Molinaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Sciamanna in the 94th minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, Cosimo Sciamanna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ernesto Molinaro. Cosimo Sciamanna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-9. The Phenomena fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zola Predosa FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
