The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, Bar Marconi United's Fulvio Pietropaolo threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cesare Talamo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cesare Talamo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. Horea Balint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Olejasz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Anak Çelenk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bar Marconi United booed when A.C.Toro29 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guga Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Davide Spadoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bar Marconi United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Spadoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, A.C.Toro29's Antoni Olejasz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horea Balint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Davide Spadoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A.C.Toro29's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enak Saja in the 25th minute. The corner ended in Antoni Olejasz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bar Marconi United's Horea Balint did a great save. Bar Marconi United's Costin Alucai got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Olejasz in the 35th minute of play forced Bar Marconi United's goalkeeper Horea Balint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Dragoş Zgondea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Horea Balint was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Costin Alucai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Costin Alucai was the one to do the kick off. Enak Saja hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Alucai in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulvio Pietropaolo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Costin Alucai sped through A.C.Toro29's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fulvio Pietropaolo. Costin Alucai might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulvio Pietropaolo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costin Alucai ran back to his position shaking his head. A.C.Toro29's Fulvio Pietropaolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Alucai in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Zgondea in the 62nd minute of play forced Bar Marconi United's goalkeeper Horea Balint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, A.C.Toro29's Dragoş Zgondea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horea Balint narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A throw-in in the 67th minute of the game was made by Eraldo Roberto with Anak Çelenk as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Fulvio Pietropaolo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costin Alucai's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Antoni Olejasz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bar Marconi United made a substitution. Fabrizio Adriano replaced Costin Alucai. A.C.Toro29 made a substitution. Felice Juliano replaced Emiliano Giusto. In the 77th minute Fabrizio Adriano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulvio Pietropaolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horea Balint made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Felice Juliano sent off a good shot on target. A.C.Toro29 made a substitution. Ciro Furia replaced Dragoş Zgondea. Bar Marconi United's Rene Santana quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eraldo Roberto, made in the 84th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Adriano in the 89th minute of play forced A.C.Toro29's goalkeeper Fulvio Pietropaolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, A.C.Toro29 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Roberto to maneuver through the defense. After 96 minutes of play, Bar Marconi United's Sabri Yenal made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fulvio Pietropaolo was left in no man's land by his defense there!
