Josué Rego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Äliqulu Vermäliyev went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. FC Aquile Azzurre were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Zola Predosa FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reg Weeks took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Yuan Xiong managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 20 minutes into the match, Zola Predosa FC's goalkeeper Josué Rego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlo Borgatello. Josué Rego was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Carlo Borgatello capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlo Borgatello really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. A hard shot 32 in the game by Carlo Borgatello from a close distance when the talented Josué Rego managed to make a qualified save. Zola Predosa FC's players were relieved. Josué Rego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlo Borgatello in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Hugo Flecken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sabin Pânzaru. FC Aquile Azzurre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Flecken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Äliqulu Vermäliyev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Josué Rego. That made the score 6-1 in the 41 minute of play. Äliqulu Vermäliyev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sebastião Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosimo Sciamanna made a kick off. FC Aquile Azzurre's Sabin Pânzaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save FC Aquile Azzurre from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Carlo Borgatello managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Aquile Azzurre's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Borgatello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Rego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sabin Pânzaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Delabarre in the 58th minute. The supporters of Zola Predosa FC booed when FC Aquile Azzurre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adil Mahşer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zola Predosa FC's zone, Äliqulu Vermäliyev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Rego came out of the goal and Äliqulu Vermäliyev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Aquile Azzurre's Sabin Pânzaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Severo in the 65th minute of play. Josué Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Borgatello in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Carlo Borgatello made a precise shot to the right of Josué Rego. Zola Predosa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. FC Aquile Azzurre's Filippo Massa was substituted for Carlo Borgatello. In the 73rd minute, Zola Predosa FC's Sebastião Severo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-2. Amanda Almqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Äliqulu Vermäliyev in the 86th minute of play forced Zola Predosa FC's goalkeeper Josué Rego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match Sebastião Severo climbed in front of goal and pressed up 7-3 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Sabin Pânzaru. Josué Rego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Äliqulu Vermäliyev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zola Predosa FC's Josué Rego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Massa in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Aquile Azzurre fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zola Predosa FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
