In the 30th minute, Augusto Bevilacqua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goal looked a bit too open when Vygandas Jančiauskas came free, but Daniele Bucciarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Merceron United defense, Vygandas Jančiauskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniele Bucciarelli. The Merceron United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniele Bucciarelli should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vygandas Jančiauskas in the 44th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Daniele Bucciarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dinei Fernandez made a kick off. Augusto Bevilacqua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Daniele Bucciarelli made a huge save. After having played for 53 minutes, Vygandas Jančiauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SPALLETTE RETURNS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vygandas Jančiauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vygandas Jančiauskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Daniele Bucciarelli made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Amedeo Palmieri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniele Bucciarelli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Achille Tullio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniele Bucciarelli came out and tried to block the shot, but Achille Tullio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 59th minute. In the 72nd minute Augusto Bevilacqua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Bucciarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Immobile charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Immobile the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Merceron United booed when SPALLETTE RETURNS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Immobile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Silvestri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinei Fernandez scored 1-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Silvestri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Antonio Nero was substituted for Achille Tullio. SPALLETTE RETURNS made a substitution. Alessio Milanese replaced Fortunato Santone. With a little luck, Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli got control of the ball when Vygandas Jančiauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Merceron United from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Edoardo Pascucci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Silvestri was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 87 minutes in the game Antonio Nero did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Amedeo Palmieri. In the 88th minute, SPALLETTE RETURNS's Vygandas Jančiauskas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniele Bucciarelli. Daniele Bucciarelli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Marco Silvestri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Pascucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Nero in the 93rd minute of play. Vygandas Jančiauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SPALLETTE RETURNS played a much better game than Merceron United and deserved their victory. The Merceron United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
