It was a penalty for ❤GinchanelManu13❤! Patrice Marsonet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Luongo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Enzo Luongo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrice Marsonet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Gazza. Patrice Marsonet made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Xabat Portillo sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Luongo came free, but Patrice Marsonet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes ❤GinchanelManu13❤ got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Sciarra. When Giuseppe Basso came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the AC Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giuseppe Basso couldn't finish the play. Alessandro De Vecchis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Basso in the 47th minute of play. After the first half AC Milan were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enzo Luongo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xabat Portillo in the 54th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Patrice Marsonet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Xabat Portillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrice Marsonet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Max Magnus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Max Magnus hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Luongo came free, but Patrice Marsonet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro De Vecchis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Totò Van Bastén, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. AC Milan's Patrice Marsonet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Masetti in the 88th minute of play. After 93 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Max Magnus. In the 95th minute, Mister Bean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrice Marsonet was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. AC Milan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
