Ian Fenomeni's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Zarillo came free, but Cristiano Granata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélio O'Connell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigue Léonard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Ettore Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Granata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute Maritek FC were awarded a corner. Andrea Mariani went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Felice Tacco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristiano Granata quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristiano Granata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Zarillo in the 25th minute of play. Felice Tacco made a great header on Maritek FC's corner, it was just that A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Cristiano Granata managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Edoardo Galeone sped through Maritek FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hélio O'Connell. Hélio O'Connell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Galeone, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Rodrigue Léonard took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Hélio O'Connell to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. A.S. Ian Fenomeni had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
