The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adriano Mancini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nedo Nadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. 11 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's Emanuele Bertoni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franco Catucci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gonzo Style f.c's Amedeo Signoretti got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Davide Bertolini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of San Nicolò Kings booed when Gonzo Style f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Di Loreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuele Bertoni's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Franco Catucci skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Franco Catucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Firmani, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Nedo Nadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Mancini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzo Style f.c's Adriano Mancini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedo Nadi in the 29th minute of play. Adriano Mancini came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by San Nicolò Kings's Nedo Nadi. But to his dismay, Nedo Nadi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Franco Catucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Firmani, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nedo Nadi in the 39th minute of play forced Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Adriano Mancini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Nicolò Kings's Franco Catucci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save San Nicolò Kings from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davide Bertolini in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriano Mancini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Bravo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Flavio De Matteis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 minutes, Corrado Trevisani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Nicolò Kings and the Gonzo Style f.c players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emanuele Bertoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Gonzo Style f.c players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Nicolò Kings were winning 0-1.

In the 56th minute Emanuele Bertoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Catucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Adriano Mancini successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Nedo Nadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Nicolò Kings's supporters rose to their feet, but Nedo Nadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Mancini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriano Mancini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Bertolini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Bertoni in the 66th minute of play forced San Nicolò Kings's goalkeeper Franco Catucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Diego Staniscia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gonzo Style f.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Nicolò Kings the free kick. Diego Staniscia kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Diego Staniscia hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ernesto Taglientes short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Adriano Mancini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gonzo Style f.c's Adriano Mancini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by April Kul in the 79th minute of play. When Gonzo Style f.c's Emanuele Bertoni in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Nicolò Kings's goalie prevented a goal. If April Kul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86thth minute of the game Ernesto Tagliente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gonzo Style f.c's Adriano Mancini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, San Nicolò Kings's Nedo Nadi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adriano Mancini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nedo Nadi kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 90thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Gonzo Style f.c's keeper Adriano Mancini was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. If Nedo Nadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 97 played minutes San Nicolò Kings got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Sena. San Nicolò Kings's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
