After taking down the ball on Maritek FC's corner Ettore Santo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabrizio De Feo quite easily take care of the ball. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by ASD Real Molinella 1911's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andrea Mariani was slow to take the kick. During this time Maritek FC's players had a chance to rest. After 25 played minutes ASD Real Molinella 1911 got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Hitzeder. A collision led to ASD Real Molinella 1911 getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Panayot Gadzhov hit a great ball. In the 38th minute of the match Maritek FC got a corner. ASD Real Molinella 1911's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrea Mariani ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ferruccio Zarillo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 42nd minute Ferruccio Zarillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio De Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrizio De Feo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Zarillo in the 45th minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Maritek FC got a freekick which was hit by Felice Tacco. Hélio O'Connell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Jonas in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ettore Santo was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Maritek FC's Fabrizio De Feo threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ettore Santo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 57th match minute, ASD Real Molinella 1911 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacy Malik to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute of the match Maritek FC got a corner. ASD Real Molinella 1911's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Santo got free with Fabrizio De Feo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
