An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantin Butylin in the 17th minute of play forced San Nicolò Kings's goalkeeper Franco Catucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Bilintx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedo Nadi in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Gladiator FC booed when San Nicolò Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gladiator FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michael-Elvis Flumian in the 33rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davide Bertolini to make the kick off. Fabio Kåmark hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Franco Catucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Mitsiou in the 77th minute of the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gladiator FC reached it.
