In the 9thth minute of the game Harold Combettes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but En Avant Nikko's Silvestre Derwin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Noisiel's Karlheinz Ludecke got control of the ball when Firman Morientes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, Noisiel's Harold Combettes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
