The crowd rose to their feet as Christian Minaud kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dilan Bobet. That made the score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evan Le Moullec to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabien Cantin hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Chaponnay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabien Cantin came free, but Dilan Bobet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stéphane Gaudy in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dilan Bobet saved Chaponnay FC from getting behind. Chaponnay FC's Dilan Bobet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Cantin in the 63rd minute of play. Dave Rinaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 minutes, Stéphane Gaudy made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Stéphane Gaudy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dilan Bobet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Elegance Dijon had played much better football throughout.
