Gao Yang Yan had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Charly Boisson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dilan Bobet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Felenak in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Felenak in the 15th minute of play forced Chaponnay FC's goalkeeper Dilan Bobet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dilan Bobet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alain Girault in the 16th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Chaponnay FC defense, Gianluca Prestin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dilan Bobet. Dilan Bobet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gao Yang Yan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 75th minute of the match, Yves Leite got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dilan Bobet was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 78th minute Gianluca Prestin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dilan Bobet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
