The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Éluard Coulomb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jules Spinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. After 4 minutes FC Saubrigues's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aílton Zonta who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Les 3 Quilles FC's corner Aílton Zonta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Éluard Coulomb quite easily take care of the ball. If Jules Spinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jules Spinelli in the 6th minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Éluard Coulomb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Les 3 Quilles FC's Rick Grimes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Éluard Coulomb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Éluard Coulomb came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Les 3 Quilles FC's Jules Spinelli. But to his dismay, Jules Spinelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Bruce Dagorne hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jules Spinelli struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Éluard Coulomb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Les 3 Quilles FC. In the 17th minute, Rick Grimes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Les 3 Quilles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jules Spinelli in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes FC Saubrigues got a freekick which was hit by Edmond Coiffier. After 23 minutes of play, Les 3 Quilles FC's Jules Spinelli made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Éluard Coulomb was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the FC Saubrigues defense, Jules Spinelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Éluard Coulomb. The FC Saubrigues fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Éluard Coulomb should have stopped the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Les 3 Quilles FC's Jules Spinelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Éluard Coulomb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Rick Grimes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Éluard Coulomb. FC Saubrigues's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rick Grimes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. A collision led to Les 3 Quilles FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Aílton Zonta hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Rick Grimes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Éluard Coulomb was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. 48 minutes into the game, Jules Spinelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Éluard Coulomb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salomon Buffet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jules Spinelli was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Les 3 Quilles FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 56th minute Zbyszek Kapelski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Éluard Coulomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Zbyszek Kapelski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Éluard Coulomb. FC Saubrigues's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zbyszek Kapelski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Éluard Coulomb was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Jules Spinelli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jules Spinelli really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. After a rather tough play, FC Saubrigues's Alphonse Keita got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 64th minute, Aílton Zonta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Éluard Coulomb successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mei Jing Liang got free with Éluard Coulomb in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 68 played minutes FC Saubrigues got a freekick which was hit by Adrien Cariou. Les 3 Quilles FC's Enzo Martino was substituted for Özcan Sulasi. In the 68th minute, Adrien Cariou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Rick Grimes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Éluard Coulomb. That made the score 0-12 in the 71 minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Kapelski came free, but Éluard Coulomb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Jules Spinelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Éluard Coulomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Éluard Coulomb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Grimes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jules Spinelli did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-14 to the left of a surprised Éluard Coulomb 84 minutes into the match. If Jules Spinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Éluard Coulomb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jules Spinelli. With a little luck, FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb got control of the ball when Rick Grimes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jules Spinelli succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-15 in the 91st playminute. The FC Saubrigues fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Les 3 Quilles FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
