Fabien Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joël Rétière's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Ground Control's Roberto Rojelio pulled a muscle in his leg after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 23 minutes into the game, Pastor Cambranes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Kertzfeld's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ground Control the free kick. The supporters of Ground Control booed when Fc Kertzfeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Cambranes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amine Philibert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Helmut Lossimäe having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Joël Rétière notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ground Control's Fabien Nunes. Fabien Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joël Rétière in the 36th minute of play forced Ground Control's goalkeeper Fabien Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Gaston Toupin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Kertzfeld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Toupin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Titouan Levet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Kertzfeld's supporters rose to their feet, but Titouan Levet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabien Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ground Control's Amine Philibert got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joël Rétière to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Joël Rétière left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Kertzfeld fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The referee ignored Ground Control's protests and gave Tostão Donato a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fc Kertzfeld booed when Ground Control was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amine Philibert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ground Control's Amine Philibert got a free kick in the 74th minute. Wesley Donato blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabien Nunes having to make a save. In the 77th minute of the match, Wesley Donato got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabien Nunes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 83rd minute Wesley Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fc Kertzfeld's Chris Laurence was substituted for Faustin Rouquie. In the 84th minute of the match Fc Kertzfeld got a corner. Ground Control's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edgar de Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. 90 minutes into the game, Ground Control's Frédéric Courtial nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Helmut Lossimäe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Wesley Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wesley Donato's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabien Nunes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Anton Karakevych received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Helmut Lossimäe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Fc Kertzfeld left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ground Control.
