The corner ended in Patrice Lambolez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RvdU 1949 FC's Clovis Berhault did a great save. In the 6th minute, Armand Mondon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perthes United's Jean-Marie Sanquer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Erik Johnsson in the 7th minute of play. Severo Alfonso kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, RvdU 1949 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Touze to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Perthes United booed when RvdU 1949 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Touze didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, RvdU 1949 FC's Clovis Berhault got control of the ball when Hercule Basque tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Perthes United's Fernand Pierrel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fernand Pierrel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Perthes United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fernand Pierrel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Fernand Pierrel hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Sven-Erik Johnsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-Marie Sanquer having to make a save. Jean-Marie Sanquer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Brioude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, Perthes United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octave Langevin to maneuver through the defense. After 27 minutes, Severo Alfonso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RvdU 1949 FC and the Perthes United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to RvdU 1949 FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Severo Alfonso hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rayanne Ros got free with Clovis Berhault in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, RvdU 1949 FC's goalkeeper Clovis Berhault had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hercule Basque. In the 30th minute, Hercule Basque reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Clovis Berhault. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 33rd minute of the match, Hercule Basque got a very nice opportunity to score, but Clovis Berhault was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 34 minutes RvdU 1949 FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrice Lambolez who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Patrice Lambolez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RvdU 1949 FC's Clovis Berhault did a great save. Clovis Berhault was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hercule Basque showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. In the 42nd minute Bryan Brioude shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Sanquer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Marie Sanquer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Brioude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Perthes United's goal looked a bit too open when Joffrey Petitpas came free, but Jean-Marie Sanquer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hercule Basque to strike the kick off in the second half. Clovis Berhault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hercule Basque in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 minutes, Hercule Basque made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. RvdU 1949 FC's Clovis Berhault tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Honoré Ferretti kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Hercule Basque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Rayanne Ros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clovis Berhault was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Hercule Basque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clovis Berhault having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, Perthes United's Hercule Basque made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clovis Berhault was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hercule Basque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clovis Berhault having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Marc Touze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RvdU 1949 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perthes United the free kick. After a rather tough play, RvdU 1949 FC's Marc Touze got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 82 minutes of play, Perthes United's Hercule Basque made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clovis Berhault was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clovis Berhault took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rayanne Ros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, RvdU 1949 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hercule Basque came free, but Clovis Berhault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Hercule Basque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clovis Berhault was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. There was no doubt that Perthes United were the better team. Perthes United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
