RvdU 1949 FC's Prosper Gillard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save RvdU 1949 FC from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by RvdU 1949 FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dimitri Bougault was slow to take the kick. During this time Herblay's players had a chance to rest. Antonin Dagorne hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Léon Monnet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Prosper Gillard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. RvdU 1949 FC's Prosper Gillard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonin Dagorne in the 16th minute of play. Gartzea Ungia kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Dave Vasselin managed to get in a good position for a shot. RvdU 1949 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Vasselin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludomil Kajdasz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Léon Monnet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Prosper Gillard skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Léon Monnet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prosper Gillard having to interfere. Severo Alfonso hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fryderyk Gleba during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Prosper Gillard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Dagorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norbert Cadart struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Prosper Gillard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herblay. Léon Monnet took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prosper Gillard. Prosper Gillard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léon Monnet got free with Prosper Gillard in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Prosper Gillard managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Herblay's Léon Monnet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 36th minute, Herblay's Antonin Dagorne dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léon Monnet got free with Prosper Gillard in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to RvdU 1949 FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gartzea Ungia hit a great ball. Prosper Gillard acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dimitri Bougault. 43 minutes into the match, RvdU 1949 FC's goalkeeper Prosper Gillard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Léon Monnet. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Léon Monnet was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Herblay's Léon Monnet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prosper Gillard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 58th minute, Dimitri Bougault made a precise shot to the right of Prosper Gillard. RvdU 1949 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. A sloppy throw-in by Ben Girouard in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by RvdU 1949 FC's Severo Alfonso. After a rather tough play, Herblay's Holger Duusgaard got a free kick in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Herblay's Léon Monnet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prosper Gillard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Léon Monnet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herblay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Prosper Gillard didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Herblay's Léon Monnet shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Igor Pucheu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prosper Gillard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léon Monnet, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 82nd minute, Léon Monnet made a precise shot to the right of Prosper Gillard. RvdU 1949 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Prosper Gillard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léon Monnet in the 86th minute of the match. Igor Pucheu's late challenge caught a Herblay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Pucheu helped the player get up and apologised. Igor Pucheu hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Antonin Dagorne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prosper Gillard was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Prosper Gillard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimitri Bougault went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Herblay had played much better football throughout.
