Édouard Vie hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Antonin Dagorne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Sanquer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léon Monnet in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Marie Sanquer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Léon Monnet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herblay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Perthes United's Jean-Marie Sanquer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léon Monnet in the 24th minute of play. When Fernand Pierrel fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perthes United's protests and gave Fernand Pierrel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Perthes United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernand Pierrel to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Herblay getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Sylvain Missonnier hit a great ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Herblay's goalkeeper Ludomil Kajdasz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Herblay's Laurent Vilcot got a free kick in the 39th minute. Léon Monnet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Marie Sanquer having to interfere. A collision led to Perthes United getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Édouard Vie hit a great ball. Perthes United's Jean-Marie Sanquer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léon Monnet in the 47th minute of play.

Léon Monnet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jean-Marie Sanquer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludomil Kajdasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rayanne Ros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Marie Sanquer made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Léon Monnet sent off a good shot on target. Jean-Marie Sanquer made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Norbert Cadart sent off a good shot on target. Jean-Marie Sanquer was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Norbert Cadart capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. With a little luck, Perthes United's Jean-Marie Sanquer got control of the ball when Antonin Dagorne tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Herblay getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sylvain Missonnier hit a great ball. Léon Monnet's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jean-Marie Sanquer firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ludomil Kajdasz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hercule Basque's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Léon Monnet kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jean-Marie Sanquer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Léon Monnet went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Antonin Dagorne shot from long distance after 87 played minutes, a shot that Jean-Marie Sanquer with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Léon Monnet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Jean-Marie Sanquer made a huge save. Jean-Marie Sanquer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Dagorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Antonin Dagorne got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Herblay walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
