Spectators: 189 (Terracing: 143, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sebastián Villa got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's Sebastián Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafino Pancho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastián Villa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serafino Pancho came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastián Villa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Cavaliers FC's Cornelio Villegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Tiniebra in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santa Fe's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teofilo Mikeldi was slow to take the kick. During this time Cavaliers FC's players had a chance to rest. 15 minutes into the match, Santa Fe's goalkeeper Serafino Pancho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastián Villa. Cavaliers FC's Sebastián Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cavaliers FC's Jeremias Sandalio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rafael Ramos in the 20 minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Carmelo Tiniebra notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cavaliers FC's Cornelio Villegas. Cornelio Villegas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Tiniebra came free, but Cornelio Villegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Rafael Ramos in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cavaliers FC's Jeremias Sandalio. Sebastián Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafino Pancho having to make a save. Santa Fe's Serafino Pancho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Fe from getting a goal against them. Luis María Guadalupe struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Cornelio Villegas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Fe. In the 38th match minute, Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Madaleno to maneuver through the defense. Cavaliers FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Santa Fe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teofilo Mikeldi took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Sandalio in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafino Pancho saved Santa Fe from getting behind. After 46 played minutes Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Madaleno. 47 minutes into the game, Cavaliers FC's Sebastián Villa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafino Pancho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

The wind increased when Carmelo Tiniebra made the kick off in the second half. Sebastián Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Villegas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis María Guadalupe. Cornelio Villegas made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Carmelo Tiniebra sent off a good shot on target. Serafino Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Carmelo Tiniebra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Cornelio Villegas made a huge save. In the 66th minute of the match, Carmelo Tiniebra got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cornelio Villegas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Santa Fe's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Cavaliers FC. Serafino Pancho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastián Villa's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Sebastián Villa struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Serafino Pancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavaliers FC. Serafino Pancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastián Villa in the 88th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Sebastián Villa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cavaliers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The Cavaliers FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
