In the 16th match minute, Realsamesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Vela to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Huang Rong made a precise shot to the right of Conny Blom. Realsamesta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Conny Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huang Rong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Realsamesta booed when Golden Generation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Dimas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Golden Generation's Huang Rong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conny Blom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yorrick Hekman in the 31st minute of play forced Realsamesta's goalkeeper Conny Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Horaţiu Amânaloae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conny Blom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Huang Rong went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Toni Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Blom having to interfere. But to his dismay, Huang Rong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Golden Generation's Barnaba Ciborek was substituted for Huang Rong. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yorrick Hekman to make the kick off. Yorrick Hekman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Conny Blom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Conny Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaba Ciborek, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Golden Generation were awarded a corner. Ulises Dimas went to the cornerflag to take it.
