The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidro Oliviero was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Isidro Oliviero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbudos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Oliviero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Barbudos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Abadia should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Barbudos FC's Franco Beccari sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gianluca Kán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
