The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Oliviero in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Oliviero came free, but Samuel Evarado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Isidro Oliviero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barbudos FC's Xu Jun Cheng managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jonatan Fraco in the 32 minute of the game. Samuel Evarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Oliviero in the 32nd minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Severino Rojas. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Isidro Oliviero sped through Hermosillo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuel Evarado. After 45 played minutes Hermosillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Chico Che. A collision led to Barbudos FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Federico Celipe hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Chico Che got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Boguslaw Wydrych. In the 56th minute, Isidro Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barbudos FC's Gareth Bala was substituted for Dionisio Chorche. After 58 played minutes Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Oliviero. Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Oliviero in the 63rd minute of play. When Isidro Oliviero came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Barbudos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Oliviero couldn't finish the play. Gonzalo Corderro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Abadia having to interfere. Barbudos FC's Franco Beccari was substituted for Isidro Oliviero. In the 73rd minute of the match, Franco Beccari tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Samuel Evarado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bernabe Ladio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barbudos FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
