An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Henrico in the 8th minute of play forced Huracan FC's goalkeeper Arne Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Constantino Henrico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Pettersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Constantino Henrico scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Pettersson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arne Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Henrico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Serafin Ugaitz got control of the ball when Gustaf Bogren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Constantino Henrico made a precise shot to the right of Arne Pettersson. Huracan FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Huracan FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvestre Gonzo in the 23rd minute. Silvestre Gonzo made a great header on Huracan FC's corner, it was just that Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Serafin Ugaitz managed to reach the ball for a save. Serafin Ugaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from CJ Klose, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling CJ Klose in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafin Ugaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute of the match Paddy Attenborough sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Pettersson skillfully saved the ball. Gustaf Bogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Ugaitz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaf Bogren could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Serafin Ugaitz however easily saved by the left post. After the first half Cacomixtles de Queretaro were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Gustav Sefastsson was substituted for Constantino Henrico. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustav Sefastsson made a kick off. Serafin Ugaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Bogren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes Huracan FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Tofani. After a defensive mix-up in Huracan FC's zone, Astor Nevada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Pettersson came out of the goal and Astor Nevada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If CJ Klose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cacomixtles de Queretaro made a substitution. Igor Evarado replaced Severino Che. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goalkeeper Serafin Ugaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Astor Nevada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huracan FC the free kick. Huracan FC's Jairo Jaen was substituted for Gustaf Bogren. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goalkeeper Serafin Ugaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CJ Klose's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Ugaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Ronn Liang charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronn Liang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Huracan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronn Liang to maneuver through the defense. CJ Klose recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Huracan FC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Huracan FC's CJ Klose looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Serafin Ugaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute CJ Klose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Ugaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CJ Klose struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Serafin Ugaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huracan FC. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cacomixtles de Queretaro eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
