Samuel Falguera came out of the goal and Maximo Villamarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Falguera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Villamarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Red Reign's Armando Hera quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Montalvo Temiño, made in the 9th minute of the game. Maximo Villamarin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Falguera having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Villamarin in the 10th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Logroño's goalkeeper Samuel Falguera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoro Selgas kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Ismael Cabezon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Gordon during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salomon Almonte to strike the kick off in the second half. Zigor Ardanza, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Deportivo Logroño's goalkeeper Samuel Falguera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Montalvo Temiño got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Roberto Fontecilla. In the 71st minute, Maximo Villamarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Red Reign made a substitution. Pablo Beloso replaced Leoverliz Barrutia. Red Reign's attentive Armando Hera managed to snatch the ball when Ismael Cabezon made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Samuel Falguera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Club Deportivo Logroño getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Montalvo Temiño hit a great ball. Maximo Villamarin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Samuel Falguera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Red Reign fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Villamarin in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Falguera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Red Reign's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
