In the 5th minute, Csaba Tar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Hogwarts were awarded a corner. Bohórquez España went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Caicedo in the 11th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Logroño's goalkeeper Samuel Falguera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Ayoví Balaguer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Logroño's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hogwarts the free kick. Ayoví Balaguer kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Adrian Oces had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salomon Almonte hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Logroño's Yaniusky Chavarria got a free kick in the 19th minute. Texeira Adan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salomon Almonte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Caicedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Salomon Almonte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Texeira Adan was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hogwarts's goalie and right to Danilo Gordon. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hogwarts's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 39th match minute, Club Deportivo Logroño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoro Selgas to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Falguera was a little too slow when Tercero Moraina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Samuel Falguera made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Adrian Oces sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Csaba Tar to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Asensio Carneiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hogwarts's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Deportivo Logroño the free kick. After 53 played minutes Hogwarts got a freekick which was hit by Asensio Carneiro. Texeira Adan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Fontecilla in the 54th minute of the match. Csaba Tar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Gordon during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Danilo Gordon kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Samuel Falguera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Csaba Tar in the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Logroño's Manuel Chavarre got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 67 played minutes Club Deportivo Logroño got a freekick which was hit by Joffre Arizabal. In the 72nd minute Adrian Oces shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Falguera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Logroño's Yaniusky Chavarria got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csaba Tar in the 81st minute of play forced Club Deportivo Logroño's goalkeeper Samuel Falguera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tercero Moraina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joffre Arizabal hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Hogwarts's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
