Esteban Dreer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 6th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Noel Hägele notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Red Reign's Dawid Ratulowski. Dawid Ratulowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 18 minutes, Maximo Villamarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Reign's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Villamarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Hägele in the 20th minute of play forced Red Reign's goalkeeper Dawid Ratulowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elco Vid's late challenge caught a Red Reign's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elco Vid helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Elco Vid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes Red Reign got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Cerdeño. Noel Hägele might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dawid Ratulowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Noel Hägele ran back to his position shaking his head. 31 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Hägele came free, but Dawid Ratulowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, GALACTICOS's Dawid Ratulowski threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Noel Hägele, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 43 minutes into the game, Daniel Obuchowicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALACTICOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Reign the free kick. After 44 played minutes GALACTICOS got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Obuchowicz. In the 46th match minute, GALACTICOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Mora to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Red Reign made a substitution. Ismael Blanco replaced Xosepe Villamizar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noel Hägele to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Red Reign got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Cerdeño. Esteban Dreer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximo Villamarin's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Maximo Villamarin put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Esteban Dreer. Red Reign made a substitution. Pablo Beloso replaced Leoverliz Barrutia. Andrés Hong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Fabian Cerdeño threw the ball into play from the sideline. GALACTICOS's Alessandro Nesta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Noel Hägele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Red Reign was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zigor Ardanza to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Cerdeño got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Maximo Villamarin. In the 91st minute, Noel Hägele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pablo Beloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
