The Barcelona de América fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Barcelona de América's Zayvion Ispuzua looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ronaldinho Gentenaar struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Leon Golmayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcelona de América. 12 minutes into the match, New Team's goal looked a bit too open when Zayvion Ispuzua came free, but Leon Golmayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Ronaldinho Gentenaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Golmayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Zayvion Ispuzua notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of New Team's Leon Golmayo. Leon Golmayo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zayvion Ispuzua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Golmayo having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's goal looked a bit too open when Cauã Guerra came free, but Gilmar Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zayvion Ispuzua in the 27th minute of play forced New Team's goalkeeper Leon Golmayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zayvion Ispuzua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Golmayo having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, New Team's goal looked a bit too open when Zayvion Ispuzua came free, but Leon Golmayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Perlaza Lena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leon Golmayo. New Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Perlaza Lena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Leon Golmayo came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcelona de América's Zayvion Ispuzua. But to his dismay, Zayvion Ispuzua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After having played for 43 minutes, Ronaldinho Gentenaar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcelona de América's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldinho Gentenaar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. New Team's Leon Golmayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zayvion Ispuzua in the 45th minute of play. Barcelona de América made a substitution. Caetano Levandowsky replaced Zayvion Ispuzua.

Barcelona de América's Ronaldinho Gentenaar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 58 minutes of play, Barcelona de América's Caetano Levandowsky made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Golmayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute, Caetano Levandowsky made a precise shot to the right of Leon Golmayo. New Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. The throw-in from Vilson Ibarguen in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Barcelona de América's Calisto Cean. Leon Golmayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano Levandowsky went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. 70 minutes into the game, Barcelona de América's Caetano Levandowsky nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Golmayo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Barcelona de América made a substitution. Elias Pettersson replaced Ronaldinho Gentenaar. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind New Team's goalkeeper Leon Golmayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caetano Levandowsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Leon Golmayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. New Team's Cauã Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Caetano Levandowsky kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leon Golmayo. That made the score 0-11 in the 83 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Barcelona de América's Perlaza Lena slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leon Golmayo. That made the score 0-12 after 86 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice moves Caetano Levandowsky could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Leon Golmayo however easily saved by the left post. Leon Golmayo was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Caetano Levandowsky capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Caetano Levandowsky really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. When the final whistle sounded Barcelona de América left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than New Team.
