The Barcelona de América fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Barcelona de América's Zayvion Ispuzua looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 19th minute Zayvion Ispuzua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cagua Seoane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zayvion Ispuzua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cagua Seoane was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 24th minute, Zayvion Ispuzua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cagua Seoane was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 31 minutes into the match, RockCity F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Ravousis came free, but Cagua Seoane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Zayveon Quiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zayvion Ispuzua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cagua Seoane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Gilmar Quadros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arkadiusz Banaszak. Arkadiusz Banaszak struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Gilmar Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RockCity F.C.. Arkadiusz Banaszak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Gilmar Quadros made a huge save. Cagua Seoane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zayvion Ispuzua went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. If Arkadiusz Banaszak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Dewaele to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, RockCity F.C.'s Ramiro Larrea got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Gilmar Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Banaszak in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to RockCity F.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Zayveon Quiroz hit a great ball. Barcelona de América's Gilmar Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Banaszak in the 59th minute of play. After some careless play in the Barcelona de América defense, Mario Dewaele kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilmar Quadros. The Barcelona de América fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilmar Quadros should have stopped the shot. Ronaldinho Gentenaar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Caetano Levandowsky reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cagua Seoane. The goal made the score 2-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Levandowsky got free with Cagua Seoane in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Barcelona de América defense, Mario Dewaele kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilmar Quadros. The Barcelona de América fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilmar Quadros should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Banaszak came free, but Gilmar Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Barcelona de América's Caetano Levandowsky in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RockCity F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caetano Levandowsky in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cagua Seoane saved RockCity F.C. from getting behind. After 86 minutes RockCity F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Perlaza Lena who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Ronaldinho Gentenaar managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gilmar Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Dewaele in the 89th minute of the match. Arkadiusz Banaszak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barcelona de América made a substitution. Bradford Scalzo replaced Ronaldinho Gentenaar. In the 92nd minute, Ramiro Larrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Caetano Levandowsky made a precise shot to the right of Cagua Seoane. RockCity F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-7. The Barcelona de América supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barcelona de América would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
