In the 33rd minute Santiago Meruendano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Figueiras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mora Liebana hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Santiago Meruendanos short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Rui Figueiras to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Santiago Meruendano had several of the DALO S.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Rui Figueiras as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Santiago Meruendano in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rui Figueiras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The DALO S.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Union Y Progreso F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
