With his leg 宋锋杰 managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Esmeraldas S.C.'s Willy Reynolds fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 35 minutes, Ladislao Dalmau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galería del Gol and the Esmeraldas S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Ladislao Dalmau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 宋锋杰 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Maftei went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Xayvion Llago kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xaver Guevara in the 47th minute of play forced Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Xaver Guevara made the kick off in the second half. Martinez Cines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. 宋锋杰 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 宋锋杰 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefanos Terzopoulos in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match Esmeraldas S.C. got a corner. Galería del Gol's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stefanos Terzopoulos ran over to the corner to take the kick. 66 minutes into the match, Damian Maftei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 宋锋杰. Galería del Gol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Maftei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 74 played minutes Esmeraldas S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Stefanos Terzopoulos. In the 75th minute of the match Flavius Dășanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aguinaga Nebot skillfully saved the ball. Simon Caicedo got a throw-in 77 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Castillo. 宋锋杰 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Maftei in the 89th minute of play. Damian Maftei took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 宋锋杰. 宋锋杰 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Esmeraldas S.C. fully deserved thier win.
