Chucho Dean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vachon Udoy in the 8th minute of the match. Chucho Dean was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vachon Udoy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 15th minute Garcia Jado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urti Caicedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urti Caicedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Bojarte's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Zaquiel Baamonde kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ximun Tocos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urti Caicedo having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Mario Garay notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Astillero del Guayas's Chucho Dean. Chucho Dean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bone Llorens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chucho Dean having to interfere. If Vachon Udoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Astillero del Guayas's Chucho Dean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vachon Udoy in the 30th minute of play. Urti Caicedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Bojarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astillero del Guayas were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Brewers FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Oro took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gustavo Oro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Urti Caicedo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Astillero del Guayas's zone, Vachon Udoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chucho Dean came out of the goal and Vachon Udoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vachon Udoy had several of the Astillero del Guayas's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Chucho Dean as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 47 minutes, Gian-Carlo Peñafiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brewers FC and the Astillero del Guayas players grew even worse after the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Garcia Jado made a kick off. The supporters of Astillero del Guayas booed when Brewers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yoel Achaque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urti Caicedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximun Tocos in the 58th minute of the match. Brewers FC's Urti Caicedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Brewers FC from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the game, Mario Garay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Chucho Dean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute, Vachon Udoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chucho Dean was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Astillero del Guayas's zone, Vachon Udoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garcia Jado in the 86th minute of play forced Brewers FC's goalkeeper Urti Caicedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xayvion Lojo's late challenge caught a Brewers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xayvion Lojo helped the player get up and apologised. Astillero del Guayas's Chucho Dean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vachon Udoy in the 89th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Astillero del Guayas's Garcia Jado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Urti Caicedo. That made the score 5-1 after 91 minutes of play. With his leg Urti Caicedo managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Astillero del Guayas's Garcia Jado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
