In the 13th minute Azul Y Plomo were awarded a corner. Navarro Rojas went to the cornerflag to take it. Azul Y Plomo's Navarro Rojas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ricardo Ceberiche in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zacarias Cabrero was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Romão Mourato capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Romão Mourato really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. A collision led to Azul Y Plomo getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Navarro Rojas hit a great ball. When José Macías came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Azul Y Plomo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Macías couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute José Macías shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Ceberiche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Ceberiche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor Bern in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Roneros F.C.'s Umbruso Salvadios got a free kick in the 40th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Roneros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tor Bern came free, but Ricardo Ceberiche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azul Y Plomo's Zacarias Cabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romão Mourato in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tor Bern stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Roneros F.C. getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Zacarias Cabrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witomir Jestrimski, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ricardo Ceberiche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector-Luis Arzola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacarias Cabrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Viera in the 83rd minute of play. Azul Y Plomo's Valdo Doral was substituted for Navarro Rojas. After a rather tough play, Azul Y Plomo's Zuri Macías got a free kick in the 84th minute. Azul Y Plomo's Zacarias Cabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Viera in the 86th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Roneros F.C.'s Patrick Viera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Cabrero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Zacarias Cabrero came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Roneros F.C.'s Patrick Viera. But to his dismay, Patrick Viera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Macías during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Azul Y Plomo getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. José Macías hit a great ball. Zacarias Cabrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Viera in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Roneros F.C. fully deserved thier win.
