The audience thought a goal was coming when Geronimo Izotz got free with Luiz Guilherme Toscano in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Despite this Luiz Guilherme Toscano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. CANTERANOS DMS's Goren Cabañas suffered a concussion after 87 minutes and had to leave the field. After 87 minutes, Savas Raptakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Walla FC and the CANTERANOS DMS players grew even worse after the yellow card. CANTERANOS DMS made a substitution. Edson Gandulla replaced Goren Cabañas. A collision led to Walla FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Savas Raptakis hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Kaviedes Lariz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Ocariz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walla FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
