Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alvaro Salsoro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute Prophecy were awarded a corner. Samuel Cedillo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Samuel Cedillo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González did a great save. 10 minutes into the match, Prophecy's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Svan came free, but Efrain Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Prophecy's goalkeeper Efrain Romo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute Astillero del Guayas were awarded a corner. Ziemowit Lampa went to the cornerflag to take it. Astillero del Guayas's Ziemowit Lampa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Efrain Romo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alvaro Salsoro struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Nacho González didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prophecy. Efrain Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Lampa in the 20th minute of play. After 22 minutes, Samuel Cedillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prophecy and the Astillero del Guayas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Prophecy's Samuel Cedillo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Efrain Romo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mattias Svan's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 23 minutes, Mattias Svan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Prophecy's Efrain Romo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Mauricio Gondorillas fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prophecy's protests and gave Mauricio Gondorillas a yellow card for diving instead. Amin Kurd scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efrain Romo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Prophecy booed when Astillero del Guayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amin Kurd didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mattias Svan made a kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efrain Romo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute, Samuel Cedillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Soto kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattias Svan got free with Efrain Romo in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Xaiver Ascarretazabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Efrain Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amin Kurd, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Prophecy's Hector Soto got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Mattias Svan scored 0-7 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efrain Romo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Efrain Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Svan in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Amin Kurd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Prophecy's Alvaro Salsoro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nacho González made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Camilo Arozamena's late challenge caught a Astillero del Guayas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Arozamena helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute Amin Kurd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astillero del Guayas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
