Zambrano Bravo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Hendrik van Eijnde made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Bartoli got free with Hendrik van Eijnde in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hendrik van Eijnde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Bartoli in the 25th minute. Hendrik van Eijnde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Bartoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Hendrik van Eijnde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Bartoli in the 35th minute of the match. Ismael Larrategui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Olavo Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner ended in Alvarez Pierredonda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso did a great save. A collision led to Hincha Pelotas FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Urtsin Murueta hit a great ball. Hendrik van Eijnde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Bartoli went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hendrik van Eijnde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77thth minute of the game Gavril Stoican who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hincha Pelotas FC's Hendrik van Eijnde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 79 minutes Hincha Pelotas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aguinaga Casasola who took care of the corner kick. Revolución Joao FC's Aguinaga Casasola was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hendrik van Eijnde in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Gavril Stoican came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Revolución Joao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavril Stoican couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavril Stoican in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hendrik van Eijnde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 minutes Hincha Pelotas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aguinaga Casasola who took care of the corner kick. Revolución Joao FC were furious when Benjamin Kielland was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Benjamin Kielland kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Cuero Ibañez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Hendrik van Eijnde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hendrik van Eijnde came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Revolución Joao FC's Gavril Stoican. But to his dismay, Gavril Stoican quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0.
