The coaching staff of ...Pingue S.C.. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ştefan Ghiorman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 42nd minute, Edgardo Olivera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Joaquin Loredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Armoña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

51 minutes into the game, Marco Pro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sergio Armoña. Marco Pro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Jairo Berastegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The tension between the ...Pingue S.C.. and the Ornopata players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ornopata made a substitution. Estevez Matienzo replaced Romero Ayerza. A collision led to ...Pingue S.C.. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jairo Eguiluz hit a great ball. Pipo Inzaghi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Ornopata's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. ...Pingue S.C..'s Sergio Armoña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pipo Inzaghi in the 74th minute of play.
