An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Mondaca in the 14th minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Clark Kent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Guille Aravena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magallanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zorros del Desierto the free kick. Guille Aravena kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Magallanes's Juan Mondaca suffered a concussion after 17 minutes and had to leave the field. When Sebastián Roco fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zorros del Desierto's protests and gave Sebastián Roco a yellow card for diving instead. Magallanes's Kadim Sebil was substituted for Juan Mondaca. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zorros del Desierto fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Ksawery Witkowski came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Zorros del Desierto's Jonathan Lepe. But to his dismay, Jonathan Lepe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 31 minutes, Kadim Sebil made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Anacleto Dessauer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clark Kent having to make a save. In the 34th minute Anacleto Dessauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Lepe got free with Ksawery Witkowski in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37 minutes Magallanes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cai Jian Chang who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Cai Jian Chang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ksawery Witkowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Kadim Sebil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Lepe in the 42nd minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Magallanes's Kadim Sebil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clark Kent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Lepe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Clark Kent, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when Magallanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Fernando Pirola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zorros del Desierto's Zenaido Oviedo was substituted for Emil Kapinos. Zorros del Desierto's Valentin Vrânceanu was substituted for Dalmacio Osasun. Zorros del Desierto's Concetto Mare was substituted for Jonathan Lepe. In the 57th match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Fernando Pirola to maneuver through the defense. Concetto Mare struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ksawery Witkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zorros del Desierto. After some careless play in the Zorros del Desierto defense, Kadim Sebil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clark Kent. The Zorros del Desierto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clark Kent should have stopped the shot. Clark Kent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kadim Sebil in the 71st minute. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kadim Sebil in the 77th minute of play. With his leg Clark Kent managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Magallanes's Kadim Sebil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kadim Sebil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmo Ferreira got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Valentin Vrânceanu. 94 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Kadim Sebil came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Darío Verón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Magallanes's Seran Turres broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Zorros del Desierto fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Magallanes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
