CRUZ DEL SUR were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Magallanes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ronnie Odell took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Bautista Marcó managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 23 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Estefan. In the 26th minute, CRUZ DEL SUR's Pippin Aguilera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Lorencio Irarrázaval kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Ksawery Witkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pippin Aguilera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Augusto Estefan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Estefan came free, but Ksawery Witkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ksawery Witkowski came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by CRUZ DEL SUR's Augusto Estefan. But to his dismay, Augusto Estefan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Mondaca was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Fan Yong Zhan in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Magallanes's Seran Turres. Ksawery Witkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Odell in the 55th minute of play. CRUZ DEL SUR's Pippin Aguilera got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CRUZ DEL SUR's Eustacio Antonucci was substituted for Pippin Aguilera. Zachariasz Dudkowski made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Kadim Sebil sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Antonucci in the 69th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Thompson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ksawery Witkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Odell in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Dessauer to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Magallanes defense, Eustacio Antonucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ksawery Witkowski. The Magallanes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ksawery Witkowski should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Ronnie Odell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kadim Sebil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Zachariasz Dudkowski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fan Yong Zhan hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ksawery Witkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustacio Antonucci's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. CRUZ DEL SUR walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
