Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thalis Papazisis in the 7th minute of play. Clark Kent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thalis Papazisis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Lepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goalkeeper Horacio Jesus Carvallo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Lepe. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when Baez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank De Jong didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Thalis Papazisis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thalis Papazisis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roberto Vildosola's late challenge caught a Baez FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Vildosola helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Vildosola. Zorros del Desierto's Valentin Vrânceanu was substituted for Dalmacio Osasun. Clark Kent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Zárate in the 69th minute. A throw-in in the 71st minute of the game was made by Filip Balonek with Qi Qing as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Cai Jian Chang got a free kick in the 76th minute. Baez FC's Ni Zhen Feng got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Valentin Vrânceanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zorros del Desierto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baez FC the free kick. In the 80th minute, Valentin Vrânceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zorros del Desierto's Concetto Mare in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner ended in Ruperto Ralondo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent did a great save. Filip Balonek made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Danilo Zárate. Baez FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
