In the 26th minute of the match, Gaitano Valdovinos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Clark Kent was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Vildosola, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Valentin Vrânceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Jian Chang in the 36th minute of play forced Cobresal's goalkeeper Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zorros del Desierto were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Cobresal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cai Jian Chang took the corner. In the 39th minute Zorros del Desierto were awarded a corner. Cai Jian Chang went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Cai Jian Chang almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cobresal's Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea did a great save. Adalberto Monasterio tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-3 in the 39th minute. Cai Jian Chang hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Zorros del Desierto from getting a goal against them. After 44 played minutes Cobresal got a freekick which was hit by Arneil Kurth. Cai Jian Chang took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea. Cobresal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Cobresal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zorros del Desierto were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Concetto Mare was the one to do the kick off. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Vildosola in the 52nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Clark Kent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaitano Valdovinos in the 57th minute of the match.
