An unexpectedly hard shot by Andolín Echeandía in the 23rd minute of play forced Torreoncito's goalkeeper Qi Guo Yue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Bünzli in the 25th minute of play forced Lautaro L.P.'s goalkeeper Salvador Ortega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Elodio Faine sped through Lautaro L.P.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Salvador Ortega. Salvador Ortega made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Borys Okopny sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Robert Dănescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvador Ortega was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Salvador Ortega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Bünzli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Andolín Echeandía's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qi Guo Yue read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Andolín Echeandía came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Qi Guo Yue could save by the left post. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Torreoncito's goalkeeper Qi Guo Yue, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andolín Echeandía got free with Qi Guo Yue in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Borys Okopny struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Salvador Ortega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torreoncito.
