But to his dismay, Eladio Araujo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Algarrobo made a substitution. Fidelio Aldunate replaced Jimeno Carrera. Algarrobo's Sarracino Agurto was substituted for Edmundo Cañas. Tobías Izamit's late challenge caught a Algarrobo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Inter de Chillán walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
