Snorlax FC's Tancredo Manguyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Erserman in the 3rd minute of play. Inter de Chillán were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Snorlax FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobías Izamit took the corner. Inter de Chillán's Alfonso Sotta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tancredo Manguyague in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tancredo Manguyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Erserman in the 7th minute of the match. The corner ended in Tobías Izamit almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Snorlax FC's Tancredo Manguyague did a great save. In the 12th minute, Alfonso Sotta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rickard Erserman might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tancredo Manguyague. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rickard Erserman ran back to his position shaking his head. Inter de Chillán were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Snorlax FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobías Izamit took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Albino Zenteno to score against Tancredo Manguyague in Snorlax FC's goal. 0-1 after 25 minutes. Anton Björnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Jesus Allu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Rickard Erserman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tancredo Manguyague read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Inter de Chillán got a corner. Snorlax FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobías Izamit ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Florencio Jax to score against Tancredo Manguyague in Snorlax FC's goal. 0-2 after 35 minutes. With a little luck, Inter de Chillán's Anton Björnberg got control of the ball when Tibalt Bruna tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Snorlax FC defense, Vatan Enfal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tancredo Manguyague. The Snorlax FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tancredo Manguyague should have stopped the shot. After the first half Inter de Chillán were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vatan Enfal to make the kick off. Tancredo Manguyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vatan Enfal in the 52nd minute of play. Mercurio San Martín hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibalt Bruna in the 57th minute of play. Tancredo Manguyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vatan Enfal in the 65th minute of play. Tancredo Manguyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vatan Enfal in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vatan Enfal in the 76th minute of play forced Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Tancredo Manguyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inter de Chillán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobías Izamit in the 77th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Snorlax FC's goalie and right to Samuel Abel. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Snorlax FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tancredo Manguyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vatan Enfal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibalt Bruna in the 81st minute of play. Snorlax FC's Tancredo Manguyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vatan Enfal in the 82nd minute of play. If Florencio Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Björnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibalt Bruna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Vatan Enfal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute Tibalt Bruna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Björnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Inter de Chillán had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
