Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henry Tucknott, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 14th minute Guntademaro Goyenechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobías Quilempan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Edgardo Garzo threw the ball into play from the sideline. General Velásquez's Arnold Schwarzenegger quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 28 played minutes General Velásquez got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Schwarzenegger. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Fazzini in the 29th minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Henry Tucknott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Deportes La Serena's Tobías Quilempan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 31st minute of play. Ermegildo Fazzini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Tucknott having to interfere. Tobías Quilempan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Apolo Irigoyen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd match minute, Club Deportes La Serena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Cristofor to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Goycolea during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Tucknott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soso Cheishvili in the 54th minute of play. General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soso Cheishvili in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Arnold Schwarzenegger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Tucknott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Fazzini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Deportes La Serena's Said Hamed was substituted for Edgardo Garzo. Club Deportes La Serena's Haroldo Ayorecha was substituted for Salvatore Bunster. General Velásquez made a substitution. Johny De Raeijmaecker replaced Renato Goycolea. Club Deportes La Serena's Mirco Milbradt was substituted for Juan Luis Illescas. A sloppy throw-in by Haroldo Ayorecha in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by General Velásquez's Martin Švácha. Tobías Quilempan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johny De Raeijmaecker in the 71st minute of the match. Zarpas Jons kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Soso Cheishvili's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Tucknott was relentless in the 76th minute of the game.
