Yerko Descalzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Parrau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Copaquire's goal looked a bit too open when Lauras Čiras came free, but Jonatan Parrau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Copaquire's Eleazar Canío got a free kick in the 34th minute. A collision led to Copaquire getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Toni Marshall hit a great ball. When Lorenzo Celedón fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copaquire's protests and gave Lorenzo Celedón a yellow card for diving instead. Jonatan Parrau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauras Čiras in the 43rd minute of the match. Karl-Axel Bergstedt hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Yerko Descalzo kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Celedón stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baudelio Carter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonatan Parrau having to make a save. Copaquire's Jonatan Parrau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Copaquire from getting a goal against them. Copaquire's Jonatan Parrau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauras Čiras in the 61st minute of play. Jonatan Parrau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yerko Descalzo in the 63rd minute. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Baudelio Carter took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Jonatan Parrau to make any attempt to save it. Toni Marshall's late challenge caught a Centinela Español FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toni Marshall helped the player get up and apologised. Centinela Español FC made a substitution. Epifanío Diez replaced Baudelio Carter. After 70 played minutes Copaquire got a freekick which was hit by Toni Marshall. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lauras Čiras in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonatan Parrau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonatan Parrau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauras Čiras, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute, Mario Lemos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Copaquire's goalkeeper Jonatan Parrau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Messi. Copaquire's Jonatan Parrau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauras Čiras in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Cristiano Messi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Copaquire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centinela Español FC the free kick. The supporters of Centinela Español FC booed when Copaquire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Gazitúa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Messis short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Jonatan Parrau to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match was over Centinela Español FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Copaquire throughout the match.
