The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes Clemente Esquerra rounded Club Deportivo Xpertin's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. A collision led to Club Deportivo Xpertin getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mo hit a great ball. Savier Arco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Young, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Carlos Gustavo Caicedo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Isidoro Young struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Savier Arco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Navalito. Savier Arco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Young, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Xpertin's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Young came free, but Savier Arco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Navalito were awarded a corner. Carlos Gustavo Caicedo went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Eros Villamayor managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Carlos Gustavo Caicedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Duardo Pascuala came free, but Soriano Espiñeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Clemente Esquerra made a precise shot to the right of Savier Arco. Club Deportivo Xpertin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With 44 minutes on the clock, Nazario Urtubia commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 45 played minutes Navalito got a freekick which was hit by Nazario Urtubia. Soriano Espiñeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Sánchez in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexis Sánchez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clemente Esquerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Navalito's goalkeeper Soriano Espiñeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mo. Savier Arco came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Navalito's Carlos Gustavo Caicedo. But to his dismay, Carlos Gustavo Caicedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexis Sánchez got free with Soriano Espiñeira in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eros Villamayor in the 66th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Xpertin's goalkeeper Savier Arco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Navalito made a substitution. Nicanor Parra replaced Clemente Esquerra. Navalito's Paulo Pinhal was substituted for Carlos Gustavo Caicedo. In the 69th minute of the match Navalito got a corner. Club Deportivo Xpertin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Williams Rebolledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Navalito's Williams Rebolledo to fire away a dangerous shot which Savier Arco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Williams Rebolledo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Máximo Paetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soriano Espiñeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Parra in the 74th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Xpertin's goalkeeper Savier Arco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Navalito's Paulo Pinhal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Savier Arco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Navalito's Soriano Espiñeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duardo Pascuala in the 81st minute of play.
