After a defensive mix-up in Obi Wan Cannabis's zone, Dimosthenis Siamantouras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. With an all-out effort, DEOXYS F.C.'s Gaspar Ripamonti threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Alberto Gaviño, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abner Villalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xosé Pasenau in the 16th minute of play. Gaspar Ripamonti made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Leoncio Baburizza sent off a good shot on target. Abner Villalobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xosé Pasenau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xosé Pasenau in the 22nd minute of play forced DEOXYS F.C.'s goalkeeper Abner Villalobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Ripamonti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Alberto Gaviño, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xosé Pasenau was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xosé Pasenau got free with Abner Villalobos in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dimosthenis Siamantouras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodor Buitrago really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2.
