In the 29th minute Juan Pedro Caviedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Spectre FC defense, Luis Alberto Gaviño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Vedillo. The Spectre FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Vedillo should have stopped the shot. The Spectre FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 47 minutes into the match, Spectre FC's goalkeeper Mateo Vedillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leoncio Baburizza. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Armando Paredes made the kick off in the second half. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 51st minute, but Abner Villalobos got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving DEOXYS F.C. hanging dry this time. 53 minutes into the match, Spectre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimosthenis Siamantouras came free, but Mateo Vedillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 minutes of play Spectre FC's Jose Miguel Rojo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 76 played minutes Spectre FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Miguel Rojo. Abner Villalobos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
