The referee showed Bratan Tepavicharov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Spectre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bratan Tepavicharov to maneuver through the defense. Mateo Vedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiel Pinksteren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateo Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Amor in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Armando Paredes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arkın Taşboğa. The goal made the score 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Jerardo Alzaga came free, but Arkın Taşboğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiel Pinksteren in the 21st minute of play. Savier Barrera hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Spectre FC's Savier Barrera in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Paredes in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arkın Taşboğa saved AFC Richmond from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Richmond's zone, Armando Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arkın Taşboğa came out of the goal and Armando Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiel Pinksteren in the 37th minute of play forced Spectre FC's goalkeeper Mateo Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Spectre FC's Elias Baros seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elias Baros the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Spectre FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elias Baros had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Spectre FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AFC Richmond:s goal. 1-1 came in the 44th minute when Dino Yanque all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Mateo Vedillo. Arkın Taşboğa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Savier Barrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Willy Píriz to strike the kick off in the second half. Olle Hedström replaced Dobromir Kicia. AFC Richmond's Sandro Cavareda was substituted for Rafael Maria Cousiño. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Willy Píriz took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Mateo Vedillo to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Spectre FC's Mateo Vedillo got control of the ball when Remicio Price tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mateo Vedillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Amor in the 78th minute. Mateo Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willy Píriz in the 79th minute of play. Savier Barrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkın Taşboğa having to interfere. Spectre FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Willy Píriz scored to the left of an out of position Mateo Vedillo, making the score, 1-4. AFC Richmond's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
